Yup, they will clear a thirdgen with no troubles as long as the rim is correct for the car. (I still say that's too much tire for the combo you have)

I run 27x10.50 Hoosier QTP's on a 15x8 rim with 5.5 backspacing... they tuck under the car and have a ton of clearance everwhere.

they should work ok. sidewall may be pinched on the bead a little, but not enough to make them unstable or unsafe.
