If your car is t-top then you just bought my dream car! Let see some pictures.
Why you swapping out the 305? You can get some decent power out of that.
Stealth Ram, Head work, Cam, Good Clutch, Good Gears, DR's
oh and the 150 shot
....and you have your self a 12 second 305.
I was a 305 Nazi for a while, now I have the 350 though...
By the way welcome to the club.

Welcome
You're a fool if you rip out the TPI. Just put the 350 long block in place of the 305, and beef up your fuel injection components. Start with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and an underhood, liquid filled pressure guage. I dropped a reman 350 into my 87 TA 5-speed. It was balls to the walls. Keep the TPI. Feel free to email me for advice or suggestions. Good luck!

he gets it monday. It's coming from First Gear on the corner Snyder/Springfield in BH, its sitting in the corner next to the 59 impala. He knows the guy and getting it to rebuild and make it a quick daily. Pics and progress will be posted soon as its dropped off at his garage.
Needs TLC but should be fun. He's got a huge heated garage so it'll be inside for the winter. Thing about it is, we got our friends 68 vette sitting in there too and it'll be tight but once its at his house any TPI/FI guys wanna give a lending hand, i know that there will be lots of beer on hand supplied by me
