looks like i got a new model of the magnaflow v6 system

me and kasey just had an argument about this:

i picked up my v6 magnaflow system today (well my dad did while i was in court) and i told him to get the 2.5" cuz i thought thats all they had, when i got it home i read the box and it said 3" and i told kasey and he thought i was stupid and was reading something wrong, heres exactly what it says on the box:

#15693
98-01 V6 3.8L 3" SS Tubing, Single/Dual Muffler, 3.5" SS Tips

me and my brother are installing it tomorrow

Lucky bastard! I would install my own exhaust, but I cant even change my own oil in my driveway... its pebbled, hard on the back, and covered in ice. I have absolutely no room in my garage either, cuz a boat and carpentry tools is taking up both bays.

i installed my brand new magnaflow exhaust back in aug, drove about 2 miles, then came home cuz the car wasnt running right(not due to exhaust though), motor blew about 5 min of run time later, whoohoo. but my exhaust looks mean as hell with the 3.5" tips, on my SS still sitting dead in my driveway, lol

3.8s are better... but since there will be no 5th gen 3.8 i guesssss I'll just have to SETTLE for, you know, an LS2 or whatever I can swing to afford...

Mf15693/15694 V6 systems. Box says 3" but I just checked and for sure it's really 2 1/2" midpipe.
