East Coast Extreme Stereo Shop?
Hey everybody, I'm tryin to get an eclipse head unit for my car and one of the few retailers around here (Ewing) is East Coast Extreme in Pennington. Anyone have any experience with them? I know in another thread somebody suggested Sound Automotive so I'm keeping them in mind too. Thanks.

Yea? Ok, nice. Yea nobody ever seems to complain about eclipse so I'm probably gonna get the 5425 and see what happens.

back in my car audio days i used to swap out speakers and head units regularly. i've tried pioneer, alpine, rockford, kenwood, a couple no name brands, and now eclipse. believe me when i say that the eclipse was FAR superior to the others. eclipse redesigned all their head units last year and i wanted the older design so i had to fish around for it. its an 8053 and i absolutely love it. when i'm done building up the turbo in my camaro i'm gonna get one of those double din navi screens for my saturn if you wanna ask my any Qs feel free to PM me and I may have an answer for you

I have heard about them, and talked to a few of the guys that worked there. They seem pretty knowledgeable and friendly. However, I have never seen any of their work.
Ever think about doing it yourself? Its not too hard.

Yea, doing it myself had definitely crossed my mind, especially since there's already a kenwood aftermarket in there, so I figure whatever harness I would need to fit it to a stock stereo will already be there.
As for you guys helping me, even tho I'd love that itz not for a f-body, itz for a mustang Itz a long story but main point is I don't have enough money for an LT1 yet and my brother in law finally got 'round to makin this stang driveable (he took it off the street for a year or so) so I more or less got it for free. Now itz a matter of deciding whether to get an LT1 this summer, I'll get enough cash working by then, or put some money into this stang and just save up to get a 5th gen in 3 years or so

Thanks for all the offers, I've decided to just screw it, just deal with the radio and old cd player as it is and throw the money into my savings account for the TA instead. Yea, I'm not a big fan of verts either, just look girly IMO
