				First time pulled over today...

so im going down 80 on my way to school and i see a state trooper in my rearview in the fast lane...i was in the middle lane doin 65-70...i get over cuz 80 splits pretty soon so now im in the slow lane...i notice him start speeding up and he pulls into the middle lane but doesnt get behind me so i figured im good....then 80 is about too split and he pulls behind me.....i figured he cant pull me over i didnt do anything....WRONG 1 minute later he puts on his lights and junk....i pulled over, shut off the car, got my stuff out and waited...he came by the passanger side window and said state trooper roll down the window....so my passanger side window goes down SLOWLY since the motor is so shot....he asks for my stuff and then asked me do you know why im pulling you over? i answered him saying honestly sir i have no idea....he then asked me where im from and where i was going i told him wayne blah blah and then to school....he then asked if i was wearing my seatbelt the hole time or if i had just put it on...i told him...sir my good friend was just killed last week in a car accident because he wasnt wearing his seatbelt, i never go anywhere without putting it on first.....he didnt say anything and then he walked to the front of my car took a look....then came to the window handed me my stuff and said you can go have a nice day....
this was my first time getting pulled over....i never new that you can be pulled over if they suspect your not wearing a seatbelt...i thought that was second offense thing?? o well...thats my story =]

Don't you hate that gut dropping feeling when a cop car comes up behind you... regardless if your guilty of something or not?
Good you got out of it. Doing 80 on rt. 80 is nothing around there.

i believe they can pull you over for not having your seatbelt on, but not positive. I've been pulled over a number of times, for a while it was every 2 weeks whether i needed it or not. some for ********, like a headlight out, ONE of the bulbs in my 3rd brakelight out on my jeep, for doing a burnout in a diner parking lot in the camaro, speeding, whatever. I don't get tickets though.. PBA cards = teh ****!

Seatbelt is primary offense. Cell phone I thought was still secondary.

i got pulled over a few months back and the cop gave me a seatbelt ticket, even though i had it on the whole goddamn time!!!!!

then he says, and by the way, you were doing 60 in a 55, i could have given you a ticket for that too if my radar gun was on.

 BS!!!!!!!!

he wanted to get me for speeding but couldn't cuz his gun wasn't on, so he gave me a ******** ticket for no seatbelt even though i had it on?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

i dont even remember my first time... being pulled over that is. i think it was for soemthign stupid in my GTA. And up to this date, ive been pulled over easily over 100 times. but i never had more than 2 points on my license at one time.
I used to get that gut dropping feeling when getting pulled over, but now it doesnt bother me one bit. Now I know as soon as they ask for my paperwork, itll all be over and i can go on my way. its good to have several connections. hehe.
