Exclamation Unmarked Durango

Just a heads-up....I saw an unmarked Dodge Durango pull a minivan over on Rt 18 yesterday near the Tinton Falls/Colts Neck border. It was black with heavily tinted windows all around, and the first time I've seen one of these pull someone over. I couldn't tell if it was a trooper or a local, though. The minivan went blowin' by him, and he jumped right behind it and turned the lights on. There's been heavier than normal speed traps in that area lately, too. So be careful what you're passing.

Thankfully Gov. Corzine is going to be cracking down on speed traps as a way of fundraising for towns.

Butler has an unmarked white Explorer, looks like some soccer mom driving around...till they hit the lights

but sometimes they drive the vehicles around for a bit before they get the lettering put on, so maybe it wont stay unmarked....either way they had someone pulled over with it last night.

Someone must have an unmarked Suzuki Aerio SX or a Neon...............that'd be hot. I'd provoke the cops to pull me over if they were driving an Aerio or a Neon.

Its probably the same one that pulled Martin (DarkKnight) over. He was a "Game Warden/Natural Forest Preserve officer" Black/Dark Blue Durango un-marked with black windows a push guard and some low profile lights on the roof.

I'll believe it when I see it. Even if they did crack down on it, the crooks in Trenton would just find another tax to stick us with to make up for it, or the local tax rate would magically go up.

Only white ones. My girlfriend lives there so I pass the police station all the time. Also, if anybody is ever in bordentown BE CAREFUL!!!! They actually pulled her over for doing 4 MPH over the speed limit. Yeah, you heard right... Its nothing "fast" looking either (a ford focus ). Thankfully she didn't get a ticket.

Yeah they have certain hiding places that if you drive around long enough you know where they are. I have been pulled over by them before but never before for anything as trivial as 4mph. They do alot of emissions check points and will sometimes randomly pull people over but other than that they usually leave me alone. And yeah with those check points they have checked for cats on my car so just a warning.

pine beach ( a local boro to me ) does this incessantly on route 9 - the only way in/out of my town, unless you go back roads to the parkway. i'm usually not thinking and i drive right up on one of their 'inspection sticker' checks. i have rolled the window down, slowed to a crawl and let the cop know what i think of him being there. i've even told them they'd make out better if they targeted drunk drivers. A) more revenue, and B) safer streets.

i've begged local cops to set up shop right outside of my house. the money they would make from the people doing 40 in a 25mph zone would LOWER my taxes. i told them coffee and donuts are on me...

just make sure you are clean. good inspection sticker, clean reg and insurance and a good DL. and try to slow down in the lower speed limit zones. the two seconds you save by rushing to get there now may come back to bite you in the ass sometime later. god forbid you ever hit a kid on a bike...
