T-TOPS

Anyone out there ever have any rust issues near the middle bar that the T-TOPS sit on...? Any solutions besides repainting...Its just small pits of rust like the size of the top of a nail........Any info from you guys would be appreciated.

The actual peice comes off with a few screws. I took mine off & gave it a quick sanding and painted it with a flat black spray paint, it looks brand new! On my Z it was just surface rust, I left it on, sanded it, taped it off and hit it with some paint again and it looks good as new. Its nothing serious though.

Yea take care of that the way Alex described before it looks like my old 86 TA, which required a crowbar and a BFH to get off AFTER i broke all the screws off... or you can just get on ebay for pretty cheap.

My 82 did that too. I just sanded & painted.
