LOL they would charge you like $1100 just to lay some welds on a piece of tube.

Could you be any more specific? I might be able to set you up with someone or a local shop.

I would love to do tru duals on my Z... but... lowering it 2 1/2 inches causes a problem with stock piping...

I work in the central area... I know of a shop that does custom work like that... they were only gonna charge me $400 to run the true duals.. I'll see if they will keep that price... and I'll give ya the info

that would be great. let me know

and kasey the only reason i decided on true duals was the sound. it flows real well and sounds amazing with a cam. (that and i got it for dirt cheap from ken at QTP) i was excited to throw them on as is at first but now i'm nervous about it being too loud for the amount i drive. so i'm gonna do cats and then possibly another pair of bullets if even thats too loud.

i'm even debating sucking it up and going to mufflex cause they stock all the parts i need anyway

You have true duals with dumps+bullets and you are worried about it being loud? Take the Chevelle and use it as a base point. Long Tubes + 2.5" True Duals with cross-over pipe flowmaster 40's and dumps under the rear seat. Even with cats is gonna be loud! Granted its an entire different engine, it can still give you an idea of how loud it will be.

the chevelle is loud. i dont think i could deal with my car being that loud. i'm gonna take it to mufflex and have them weld on cats reguardless, thats not neccesarily to quiet it down. having them extend it under the axle and possibly into another set of bullets will be to quiet it down a tad more
