LT's, ORY, Catback TBI next week, need pointers

Need some advise, this will be my first header + ORY installation (i've done catbacks tho) ... I have the locking bolts, 02 extensions, etc etc, basically I have everything to get me rolling on the installation. Any tips, pointers, knucklesmashing locations (looks like theres gonna be plenty ) . Going on the car is Pacesetter LT's, ORY, and Hooker catback. Thanks

Most likely gonna start installing Tuesday after memorial day cuz I'm taking my car to a show in upstate NY next weekend. I figured I get all the advise prior to it. Also, im gonna buy some air tools since I got a 100psi compressor set up, to make everything a little less nerve-and-knuckle-racking

Yea I had the plugs planned out, but didnt think of motor mounts. Question, gonna go with TR55's, but theres 3 types, the tr55gp, tr55, and tr55IX, which ones do i go with?

We did Bill's in his backyard. I forgot what he used to get the car up that high, but I'm sure he'll chime in soon and let you know.

Well, if anything ... i wouldnt be able to lift the car high enough cuz my driveway is all rocks, maybe about 1 1/2 feet in the air but thats about it. I dont feel like spending money for pro installation that can actually be used for suspension work

easiest way to get a lot of clearance is to jack up the front of the car and put it on stands. then jack up the rear and put the back tires on cinder blocks or another set of stands under the rear.
then go back to the front and jack it up higher by putting a block on the jack and using large jack stands like they sell for trucsk under the front.
if you do this right you cna have enough room for kasey to walk under the car......ok.....bad example

Can't do that in my driveway then... jackstands will just sink in the rocky driveway.

I had my car jacked up a good 2-3 feet high up front. I'm not sure if you can lift the engine on the LS1 cars and install from the top or not. Are the headers the emission's ones with the AIR and EGR fittings? Those are tougher because you lose the ability to wiggle them around. Plan on 2-3 days just in case something goes wrong and you need to replace some other parts that get broken.
