Delphi is the new name for AC/Delco. When GM combined a lot of their parts businesses, and sold them off, the new company is called Delphi. Basically, its a factory replacement part.

mmhmmm .... i have a delphi alternator in my silverado. And the a/c compresser i took out of my 96 is a delph.
