I will murder people tonight...
yup. the balance on my credit card, which i dont posses anymore, jumped from 75 dollar to 1900+ dollars. When i find out who took my card i will kill him, slowly. i cant really describe how unhappy i am but my parents told me to stay home and cool it, cuz i already broke a piece of furniture...
i ****ing hate valet parking, thats the only time they could've taken the card out, now i should go there and kill the ****ing "black person" (i was told i couldnt use the n word on the board.) that drove my car, ****ing piece of ****, but first i must buy something flamable

call up you're credit card company and tell them what happened. they should wipe the charges off. I dunno, but I would also call the police. And next time you lose the card, put a hold on it immediately.

credit card company called me already, the card is closed. and i didnt lose the ****ing thing it was taking out of my wallet. CC company said they'll mail me some **** and then they'll "invistigate"... so far i still owe the 1900 bucks.

That sucks i hope you had theft insurance on your card because if not you could still end up having to pay it.
Samething happen to my g/f's Mom a few weeks ago except someone had her bank card and was charging right from her checking account.
It's still under investigation but they narrowed it down to someone working at Rite Aide Hackensack
What they suspect is someone memorized her card #
And just manually typed it in for all the charges which i never heard of that before .
but apparently if you have a card and you don't have it with you and you know all your #'s you can type it manually into the swipe thing and still use it.
One thing good about it being a credit card they can charge the money back from where ever your card was used.
But i would be persistant about it and make it clear the card company that they will be taking care of it.

A few years back someone got a hold of one of my CC #'s and ran up $1000 on Sky Mall (of all things) and I disputed it with my CC company. They investigated and eventually wiped out the charges, I think after a few weeks. They even called to tell me when the person was caught and convicted, but they wouldn't disclose who it was. If you have a reputable CC company, you shouldn't have a problem.

You better make sure the credit card company doesn't hold you responsible for those charges.
Every one of my credit cards has no-fault theft protection.

its a habit i guess. when i used to live in berkeyley heights i caould roll down my windows and leave 100 dollar bill on the seat and no one would take it. i do pretty much the same around here in newton. i guess im not used to people stealing my **** ever since i left the motherland where i had two front doors and one of them was solid steel...

The Fidge brings up a good point, but that that doesnt give anyone the right to go charging up some 1800+ bucks. Check your statement, if its 400 bucks at Ecko, 200 bucks on rap cd's, 500 bucks on Summer Jam tickets....I think we know who the culprit is.

i already looked. he bought his gf/wife 270 dollar perfume. 250 bucks worth of crap at toys r us. 500 dollars worth of clothing at finish line and such stores. and the rest was spent in 4 different circut citys.

Damn, what happened there really blows. that **** makes me angry as hell too. a similar thing happened with my friend's mom. only i believe he said it was a check/debit card and they got beat for $5,000. but my friend said that they were gonna get their money back eventually.
