Angry My Old 92 RS Wrecked :(

my aunt bought this car from us so i see it all the time, she was driving to work and waiting to make a left turn. a tractor trailer stopped so she could turn and a guy passed the truck on the right and hit her head on, shes alright but spent the day in the hospitol. the trucker even stopped and gave a witness statement in her favor and the cops also wrote the accident report out in her favor obviously. she told me shes deffinatly gettin it fixed even if the issurance totals it, at her friends auto body place, but if not i called shots on it lol. in the pics it looks like the frame might be OK, it appears as tho the drver side fender only moved cuz it was still attached to the front bumper, note the driverside headlight are still in place, but we'll have to see...

and one more of when i owned it

ouch, its looks so so as if the frame is ok. at least the passenger side front horn is damaged and the strusture in front of the battery, possibly the battery could have been crushed too. The main impact bumper runs right behind the turn signals all the way to the side of the bumper, that structure had to move somehwere and seems it probably shifted in and over, causing the whole bumper to shift and move the fender. As for insurance companies, it looks as if they will total it. but it shouldnt be a hard repair even if they do. with a new front clip and some time pulling the front bumper mounts it should fit fine.

the impact bar mounting point on the passenger side probably got messed up and it looks like the core support probabbly got screwed up some.

That sucks. I hope she is ok. If insurance totals it, they usually want a salvage title. There is too much effort to get it re-titled after that.

I bet she will be found partially 'at fault'. She made a blind left, even though the trucker waved her on.

I am glad to hear that she is doing alright. Sad to see that happen.

Unless the truck was in a left turn only lane or it was a 2 lane road, then it was illegal for the other car to pass him at all

This happened to a friend of mine a few weeks ago (Actually it was TurboISBoi's mom), right outside my work. She was attempting to make a left into her driveway, and someone stopped to wave her in. The person behind the one who waved passed on the right, and hit my friend head on. The person who passed on the right got all the blame in the accident, and was issued a ticket(s). Fortunately everyone was ok, but Marge's (Mike's mom) caddy they think is totaled.
