Paul would know for sure, but I'm almost positive that if it were a true export car, the rear bumper would have "fog lights" in them.

iirc only the export camaros had "fog lights" in the rear bumper...export trans am/formulas were the same as they were here(with the exception of right-hand drive)
plus i don't believe there were any "9C1"(police package) trans am/formulas

there are specific rear bumpers for the export birds as well, also the taillights had a lower yellow section, and the export cars ALL had side markers on the fender, so...that is not a real export car. I was sourcing parts a for an export T/A a while back.
Only austrailian vehicles are mandatory to be RHD(classics are exempt in some regions) and those are all converted by private shops. GM never made any RHD f bodies out of the factory.
IF anything, MAYBE the car was made for canadian export.
and yes, all export had folding mirrors...which im tryign to find still, i passed on a set on ebay 2 years ago. they are square in shape and have an "ice-blue" tint.

The guy is saying RPO #2FS87 is theExport Police code. I thought all RPO codes were 3 digits.

Still looks clean. The WS6 hood looks so much better on those than the flat hood.

the only ws9 i know of is the hood that some guy stopped making a year or so ago, it was like the ws6 hood but the air tunnels were slightly larger and it had heat extractors on them.
edit:
just looked up the RPO code FE2: it seems it was a (level 2) Suspension system ride and handling for Z28s/IROCs and WS6/Firehawks ranging from 82-02

some company did a "ws9" conversion which essentially took a non-ws6 car and made it a clone of one
