Anyone have electric cutouts?

I just got my cutout installed(sounds amazing) and the electric part is in the mail.

I was curiuos to see how and where, someone who installed one, ran the wires?

wheres the cutout located? mine was right before the axle so i wired the e-cutout up through the rubber grommet below the passenger back seat, and under the carpet to the driver side kick panel, and up to the lower dash to the switch.

Yea, if you were sitting in the seat there is one grommet directly at your butthole and a second one right inbetween where your feet are

J0n is correct, I ran my wire up through the center console into my ash tray. Theres power & ground running to an interior light in your center console that is only on when your lights are on. Since i have manual head-lights I just turn them on to driving lights and open up the cut-out.

My new set up will always be on when the cars on, but on my switch panel.

I would highly reccommend(sp) not buying a QTP electric cut-out. I have had nothing but problems with the bolts holding the butterfly plate on sheering. Mine has broken 5 times, my roommates has broken 3 times, my friend's has broken a few times. You get the idea. I'm sure some of them are good though.

You may say that I cheated and used the best parts to build mine, but mine has been working for about 5 months straight with constant abuse. I also just upgraded from the standard toggle switch to the new electric controlers.
