Going through some photo CD's
Found this picture of my old Limited Edition 96 WS6. Sure do miss that car, had a chance to buy it back but after what the new owner did to it..YIKES.

The guy lowered it, put black Z06 wheels on it, clear corners and took off the SLP banner and put on a bright yellow banner of his own.
He also either painted or powerdercoated alot of stuff under the hood bright yellow.
When I saw that, I thought my poor car. He owned it for 2 years and had only put on 5K on when I sold it in 2003. He even used almost all my old pictures to sell it.
The car went from classic to ghetto overnight..

You could have just pulled off the new windshield banner and not popped the hood at shows.....

To me the car was violated and no longer mine, so I passed on buying it back.

Wow that is a nice 97, I was looking for one exactly like that when I was looking for a LT1 4th gen, but almost all of them seemed to be abused with high miles and heavily moded (something I didn't want)

umm use common sence, he didnt want to buy a car that was ALREADY modded, he wanted to do them himself. you never know the halfass **** people do when they mod a car, so you never know what your getting yourself into
