GI- T56 swapperoo
I am doing a T56 retrofit into my first gen, and although the T56 I have is in good shape, it's an LT1 T56, which means I can't retain my stock mechanical clutch linkage behind a big block.
Does anybody out there have an LS1 T56? I'd pay cash or do a swap. My Lt1 unit is in good shape, has low milage on it (car was wrecked, then trans sat) What pains me is that I sold one a few months ago thinking I was all set.

Are you doing the McLoead adapter & such? I'd like to see how you do this.

If you need help going to get it, let me know. My truck likes dirty parts in the back.
