Cars alarm isnt beeping as loud.

Boss' car (its a 4th gen Firebird. V6). He said when he unlocked it with the remote it did the beep beep like it normally does and is fine. When he got home, he locked it and it did the beep beep but it was really faint. Any ideas?

I figured it was either battery or perhaps something with the horn itself.
While Im at work tomorrow Im gonna do a battery test and also test the horn. Anything else I should look for?

Packed with snow/ice maybe? I've had that happen before in my Jeep; the horns are right inside the front bumper. I have no idea where they are on the 4th gen though.
