Devils fire coach?!?
Clinch 2 seed, win 4 of last 5 not good enough? Wow. I know Lou knows this stuff better then anyone, but jeez, sounds old school Steinbrennerish.

yeah i dont understand that move, devils were using their injuries as a scape goat for recent losses but they still finished second to buffalo which is pretty damn impressive while still maintaining less than 200 goas agienst in the east. Who is taking over? Did the artical say? i didnt read it I just heard on the radio this morning

yeah they did this in 2000 with Robbie Ftorek and I agreed then and I agree now...the players don't like playing for Julien and Lamoriello wants the team chemistry to be flowing when the playoffs start...the team will be fine...everyone's injuries are getting better and the team is clicking...plus marty about to break the record for wins soon and he will be pumped as he always is in the playoffs...Go DEVILS!!!

i went to a majority of the home games last season, being at school i've missed a lot
anyone know what dates the playoffs start?
i know the last home game is on easter, which i could've gone to, but mom said no
be home 5/4 and you can bet i'll be going to most if not all home games after

I hope the Devils finish in 2nd place. And the Rangers finish in 7th place. But then again, the rangers are not making the playoffs right?

the only reason the rangers got smoked is becasue they were in a slump going into the playoffs
from NHL.com "They made the playoffs in 2005-06, but lost their last five games of the regular season before being swept by New Jersey in the first round."

When your a young team full of rookies and lose the last 5 games in the regular season going into a playoff senerio and then lose the MVP of your team in the first game its gotta be hard to get focused. If NY gets healthy and keeps up their stride into the playoffs this year they will have another veteran like shanahan and solid play from Avery and Luvndquivst (who happens to have about the same save percentage of Marty) I agree it will be way more interesting this year. Ny entered the playoffs last year in bad shape for sure. This year will hopefuly be different. Devils are a great playoff team though, can not take that from them. But thats why I would rather see Ny play the Devils than Atlanta,
-edit-
heres a cool link to get in the playoff mood, enjoy http://youtube.com/watch?v=pab978XyR3E
