people are on crack, whats going to happen when all theese 1st gens are either so bad, they cant be fixed into something that will be safe, and all the firstgens are now 100,000 garage queens that no one is enjoying?

I'd love to have that air filter but I'm not paying prices like that. Of course, that filter would be a show only or display filter and you would put a repro filter on to run the car.

The Chinese make reproduction Firstgens, right out of teh crate. We will have plenty. The First Gen Camaro is the 32 Ford or the Tri 5 Chevy of the new age.

It is already happening. 2nd gens are rising steadily....and IMO, harder to find. Maybe the $$ hasn't pulled them out of the woodwork yet.

Here's a good example of 2nd gen parts going up. This is the 1 year only 1970 L78 and LS6 Holley carb.
