I dont what I should hate, Chevy, or their dealerships..
So last Sundy on the ride home from an autocross event, I lost a rear disc brake caliper bolt that holds it to the bracket on the rear. So today I went to Bennett Chervrolet to see if they have it in stock. From what the guy told me,its a special bolt, it would take till the middle of next week to get in, and cost $16.00 for the bolt, a damn bolt. So Im so pissed off, I dont know if I should hate chevy, or just their dealerships. My ranger never had any, custom, rare parts that I had to work on, and I never had t go to a Ford dealership for a part. You cant spell af-Ford-able without Ford in it. I should hate the dealership tho, realizing the last time I went there for a price quote, it was 1500 for the headlight harness, which later that week I found at a junkyard for 80 bucks. I kno a Junkyard doesnt costthat much, but I think the prices these days are outrageous, and its peopel like Mr. Idunohowtachangematire ( I dont know how to change my tire) that keeps these parts departments in business, and feel like they can charge anybody out the ass for parts. Pure ass people, seriously.

Ah man, thanks. I just went to a few places, and found one similar to it, just gotta grind it a little so it doesnt hit the rotor. It's just a tempo for now.

YEA!! luckily I hobbled it home, but I found a bolt almost similar in size. I grinded it down, placed a locking washer on it, and thread sealer, so i shouldn't have another problem for a while lol. But if its that common ( not saying that just cause two peopel lost their bolts, but i at least know im not the only one wiht this that has happened to them) you think theyd keep a few around, its a pretty common bolt size actually.

it was in millville. vineland is way better then millville, ask anyone that lives here (dan back me up)
as for dealerships raping you up the ass, when my cat was clogged i finally took it to the dealership after about a month since no one could figure out what was wrong with it. the wanted to charge me $800 to have a stock cat ordered and installed!! i was about to tell them where they could shove it until we said that the car was under the 80k mile warranty, then it was only $80
