it is just tint, you aren't dealing with a multimillion dollar item here. just pul it off, pass inspection, and reinstall. it would take you longer and be more of a headache to swap out the glass.
why does everyone make a big deal out of this, tint is friggin cheap!!!!

I guess the better question is: have you guys heard of people failing for LT's? The last thing I need is for STATE to fail me and then make me put manifolds on.

As long as your computer reads out ok you should be fine.

Pulling off tint is a pain in the balls. I found that a good razor, windex, and a good elbow go a long way.

I used a steamer to remove the tint of my rear hatch. I was able to just peel it off.

Have gone to private inspections for $50 and passed with no front plate, LT's and no cats and tint on the windows. Worth the $50 bucks to me.

Actually, it was done very well. Only thing was I couldn't see a damn thing out of it. The previous owner had the tint put on, and it was way too dark.

No prob. Just keep applying the steam as you peel, and peel slowly. I found for the few spots where I had some glue left, I used a can of "Goo-Off" and the glue wiped right away.

Since you have a Borla I would put the plate in it so they don't fail you for being to loud
I have been to 6 different places nobody would even inspect my car due to how loud my exhaust is.
I had to resort to making restrictor plates inside of a set of spare exhaust tips kinda like the cone of silence in the SS exhaust's in 96,97..
Just to drop my d.b. on my exhaust

Big difference between obd1 cars(like yourself) and jw's obd2 car. With an OBD2 car the only thing that must be done(to satisfy the computer) is to plug into the diagnostic port and verify that everything's fine and dandy. Your chevelle MUST have a tailpipe reading taken.

I do believe that his Chevelle is OBD, uh, 0.

Cut the BS and get a collector's sticker on your Chevelle.
