EGR
i had my pacesetter headers installed at HSW a year ago, and the egr has been leaking ever since. it looks like they pounded the hell out of it to get it hooked up, and now i cant get it straight. i have tried putting in new gaskets and stuff, but they keep blowing out. whenever i seal it up with RTV, it works for about a week and then just blows out again.
does anyone have any ideas?

egr block off plates ftw. get an expansion plug to block the intake (if its similiar to a LS1 location of it) then get the egr codes tuned out!

I would take it back to HSW. They have a really good reputation, so I can't imagine them not helping you out.
Did you ever tell them the EGR was leaking after they installed the headers?

yeah, i know theyre great guys. i go to school in ohio, and i got the headers installed the week before i left... so i havent really been able to head over there.
they also didnt tighten the bolts holding the headers onto the y-pipe... so they came apart.

I would take it to HSW or TTP....ttp already has hptuners and I can't see them charging alot for what you need done. If you bring it to HSW it'll givem a good reason to buy hptuners if they don't already have it
