			If you want an LS1 fourth gen sell yours and go out and buy one. I can see no reason to re-invent something that could have been bought from GM that way. The LT1 has plenty of potential and will out last a LSx when built to comparable power levels.

			You can pick up an LS1 + tranny for under $4K these days.  Ofcourse you can mod your LT1 and spend a few hundred on gears, a few hundred on headers, and a few hundred on the TC if bought new and put your car in the 12.9-13.0(estimating) range depending on supporting mods.
