Title Transfer In NJ

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive a title that was transfered in NJ?The guy I bought my vert from never transferred the title to NJ from the old california title.He told me it would take 2-4 weeks for him to get a NJ title.Does this sound right?

Yeah, I just did this with my Panel Truck transferred the NY title to NJ and the told me I wold get it in 2-4 weeks, I got it in two.

I got my title transferred from NY to NJ in 2-3 weeks.....just showed up in the mail from DMV.
