What do you guyshtink about the new APS Twin Turbo system for the LS1 F-body?
I am actually considering to buy their new system made for F-bodies. The craftsmenship looks really great. I have been looking for the right FI route to take, and this looks like a good one. My car and engine are already setup to handle a lot of power, so I figure this system would give me one up on a lot
of people, if i did decide to go through with it. What do you guys think of it?

Cetainly looks like some quality work from the pics. One thing I do notice is only 8# boost from a twin turbo seems a bit low to me. Now I assume they are using the wastegates to keep the engine from blowing, but I'd want to know what the max boost that system can make? If 8 is the max it makes thenI personally would pass o the kit.
Also note you still need a fuel system and injectors, so don't forget to factor that into the cost.

I think they limit the system to 8# for stock engines...I don't see any reason why it couldnt be turned up for aftermarket internals

Its cool, i got the funds for the fuel system and injectors and then some. I have until Oct. until i have to make that decisions. It looks very state of the art and kick ***. It costs $5495 with shipping included. Heres the link with the info.

yea it look nice alright; but, i dunno...maybe it is just me, but when i think of turbo powered cars i think of imports. Now granted Hennessy makes a SICK 1,200HP Viper and there are some nice kits for the Corvette as well, but i just think if i heard a blow off valve and saw a camaro, it would be turned off to it.
When i think of Camaro, Trans-Am, Corvette, mustang, and ect; i think of a supercharger.

To each their own.....
If I ever have the time/money to consider a forced induction setup, I'll be going turbo all the way.
Looks like a great kit.

I dunno about the F-bod kit, but I know CARTEK just complete an APS kit on a 97 C5, 346, and made 907rwhp. Not too shabby.

Turbo and superchargers are basicly the same thing...theyre just powered differently.
Thats a beautiful kit! I dont know how worked your driveline is on your car but i'd make sure it can handle the kind of power this kits gonna give you.

Well I got it. I placed the order a few weeks ago. It should be shipepd to my house by the middle of Oct. This is going to be awesome. I wonder how many people from NJ bought this system for F-bodies specifically. I know of a few guys that have the APS TT kit on their GTO's and vettes at cartek. They made great numbers. I think its about time I started getting my car together to shut up these annoying evos and STI's I've been seeing. Won't be until the summer though. I am also getting a 402 Alum forged engine built specifically to the specifications of my build from Texas Speed. I then plan to call my friend up in the middle of the night and tell him to meet me at the JC Pennys parking lot at 2 AM, where I will display my car to him and tell him to stand back, "You're going to see some serious ****". He's a Back to the Future fan. I probably won't do that, but what a way to display your car to your friends, right? lol. Did anyone else order this kit?
