Go find a shop that does that work and see if they will bring you in, thats what i did, i did so go i worked full time pretty much this entire summer and i just got a raise from 7 and hour to 8 an hour. Ive learned a hell of a lot and when i comes time to repaint the 86 this spring all its going to cost me is some money for materials.

i go to JP Stevens, thank god i don't live in redneck ville south Edison.
I'm actually closer to Plainfield and other stuff, on the Middlesex/union county border.
just fyi. I cant go to votech full time because i don't want to, and if i go part time, i cant play hockey, same thing with full time.

Community colleges often have night time courses and weekend courses, meant for adults who work during the day / week. Look up your local community college and get a course listing from them.
Or, as was suggested, find a local body shop that is willing to bring you in on Saturday mornings or something. You may have to do **** jobs here and there, however the education and eventual experience is worth it.
Finally, my usual disclaimer to you - finish the schooling y u have to finish. High School is very important to you, as a stepping stone to the next level, whatever it may be. Instead of stocking parts to get an hour's instruction in a paint booth or applying bondo to someone's car, spend that time making sure you will graduate from High School. Play hockey, be social with friends, tinker with your car, finish school. Working part time is admirable, and should fill out whatever available time you have. If you can make money on the weekends working at a parts counter / warehouse stocker, you'll get exposed to a lot of automotive experience that can help you just as much as some unpaid exposure in someones shop. Right now, go for the money - you may need it for the Votech / University after High School.
