If you would have been doing 83 you might not have been pulled over they seem to go after those doing above 85 and you happen to be the one.

It all depends on the time of day and where you are. You need to be extra cautious in the am hours..If its friday/weekend late afternoon/evening you need to be going in the 90's to get nabbed.

I had a flat on the PA TP a few years ago. The state tropper pulled over and asked if everything was good, which it was. So we were sitting there talking for a few and he did say to me that they dont pull anyone over unless they are going over 85. lol That was fine by me cause I do 80 on there and thats about it.
Sucks tho ya got nabbed it could have beed worse.

				turnpike fun

Two weekends ago i was having a romp with an infinity g35 ( teh 350z) we were doing it in good fun and not getting too crazy until this damn civic comes hauling outta nowwhere doing easily 110. i said oh hell dropped her down a gear or 2 and pulled on the civic . infinity boy did the same. get up to the civic its 2 blondes both pretty cute but i dont date ricers so i kept on passing. again teh civic come *** hauling past us ... now at this point i was doing 95 ish so she had to be doing over 100. 2 state troopers pull her and the infinity over and didnt look twice at me is the story in a nutshell. this was on turnpike southbound. now i speed all teh time on highways and have never gotten a ticket nor pulled over on any nj highway. my tickets are always bored local cops

always plead not guilty to speeding tickets, unless/until the prosecutor offers you something better. it's kind of funny watching them trot out all of the paperwork involved in what type of radar they use, how it is tuned, maintained, etc, ad nauseum. there are several ways to win speeding tickets, so it's always a good idea to "fight it".
