Camaro.... El Camino?
So I was driving yesterday and saw what looked like a third gen Camaro nose on a late 80's El Camino. I tried looking it up on the internets, but couldn't find too much on it, and no pics. Does anyone know if it came from the factory like that or if it was a kit.

Check out www.laureneng.com - I think they have the nose-conversion pieces you're talking about.

yup, that's the one I saw. I was curious if it was like that from the factory or not. I tried looking it up on the e-web, and it came back with all sorts of conflicting info. Glad you guys could clear it up for me

That site has some of the most god-awful plastic crap I've ever seen. Although now that Unstable Bob has the T-Type in the works, I think he should go with this look:
Let's have a vote!!!
I especially like cars that have scallops and a vinyl coach top. I love that look

Agreed. I only know of it because that's where I got my brackets to install the Celebrity headlights. Lots of those cars look like they were built in the '90s and then never updated.
And if UBG ever does that to his T-type, I'll have to kick his arse, even though I'm only half his size!

I remember reading a build in Car Craft or PHR in the early '90s. It was a Chevy wagon with a Camaro nose. I think it's a pretty easy swap for those and the Elkys.
