SCHUMI BACK IN A FERRARI!!!

ok, it was jsut for testing. but still proves who the best driver in the world is.

since the FIA announced that traction control would be gone for the '08 season everyone knew that there would be off season fireworks added to the typical silly season antics.

ferrari announced a while ago that if the anti-traction control rules were adapted they would invite michael back for a test or two to help shake down the car. well, the results are in and good ol' schumi was the fastest driver on the block.

5 teams, 16 different pilots, and none could keep pace with the former world champ over a year since the last time he took a lap on any kind in an F1 car and 7 years since the last F1 car was built that truely had no form of traction control, he can still lay it down. hehe

love him or hate him, you gotta know he is the best of the current generation of drivers by a lot. is hammy the replacement? only time will tell. the shame is that he will not have the same honor/challenge of previous generations by getting to take on the prior generations great that he will soon find himself compared to.

That guy is a freaking machine. I loved watching him drive, every one of his moves was so precise. It doesn't surprise me one bit that he was #1 in testing.

I feel the exact same way. A great driver, any way you slice it.
