Discount GM Parts

Are there any dealers who discount parts to NJFBOA members? Also, where can you lookup the parts online to get the part number?

gmpartsdirect is usually wayyyyy cheaper than any dealer around here - i priced out a couple of things, one was an EGR valve for my friends 3.8 impala...dealer by me wanted like 200, GMPD had it for like 90-100 i think

They will actually source it to whichever GM dealer they can find with the part in stock. So it could be shipped from AZ and take 2 weeks. I would say to assume a 10-20 day delivery time.

shipping charges get out of hand real quick with that website even though the prices are cheap. I've used both of the guys on shoebox's website to get parts and the prices were identical to gmpartsdirect.com or a couple bucks more. Shipping was also much more reasonable.

Worth the call.

There is a member on here (FESTER I think) who works at the parts counter at the Clinton Chevy dealership. I got a fuel pump assembly for my GTP from him for a pretty decent price. I don't think he's on much, though.

I have a guy I use in Ohio that charges 5% over cost nd then ACTUAL shipping charges, unlike the GMpartsdirect page.

Think he would be willing to accept a few more orders?
