Better double check what transmission is in it. I doubt it's a c6 beacuse the c6 is a ford trans.

yeah but i dont know cause the car had a v6 in it.and i dont think that the tranny would line up right to the 350 i dont know..but if it is a stock tranny for a v6 do u think it would be better to get a different tranny.cause i think the gears are diferent.in a v6 tranny then a v8 tranny right...

the bell housing and torque convertor on the V6 trans is different than the V8. it won't bolt up. V8 transmissions are common enough, grab one from a junk yard and freshen it. the mounts and everything are the same, so that won't be a problem.

I hope you are getting one heck of a deal on it if you (or the current owner) has no clue what transmission is even in the car......

I would follow up on what over mods he did when the motor swap was done before shelling out any cash for the car at all.....

If he says its got a C6 transmission in it, i would seriously consider finding out if its really a 350 in there. to the untrained eye you cant tell what it is. Write the casting number down. its on the driver's side, on the top of the block where the bellhousing bolts up, right behind the cylinder head. bring a friend, a flashlight and something to write with and goodluck!
