...that is what the new Hot Rod is reporting. Lots of renderings and so forth. I'm thinking it is an April Fools joke as it is the april issue. And a very cruel joke to AMC fans at that. But the rendering sare kind of cool. Bob, do some hoping & dreaming.

With Chrysler cutting everything that isnt selling over 100k units or gets 35mpg....doubt it.

I REALLY enjoyed that article, even though it was an April fool's joke. Steve Stanford is an awesome illustrator, and I loved his takes on updated AMC iron. But it truly is a shame that this country has become so "unAmericanized," that a company with the name of AMERICAN Motors wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of surviving. People are more happy thinking that their Honduhs that "are built here" are American cars, and they wouldn't support a REAL AMERICAN company that was building REAL AMERICAN cars! Oh well, at least I have my AMX to keep me company.
