please help

i have a 1988 gmc 1500 v8 i need to know how to run the serpentine belt i got rid of the ac and polloution pump please help me

You need an AC delete pulley. Dorman makes them, local auto parts store probably has one on the shelf. I don't think you can do it any other way.

I didn't think serpentine belt driven pickups came with a smog pump.

Should be the same as a f-body, just they aren't as wide. Pickups have a skinner yet taller belt setups. Either way, need to run the ac compressor or delete pulley like bonzo said.

i went to advance they dont have one now im stuck re useing the ac compresor

So? As long as it turns, who cares. Order the pulley and swap it when it comes in.

my 4.3l truck has no smog pump.

mine had the pollution pump i allso have the wide belt
