4gen Camaro/TransAm vs BMW 750... poll
If you had the option... of clean trading your 4th gen camaro for a BMW 750...
would you do it?
the catch is you can only have one or the other... not both.
Naturally, my answer is NO...
A BMW 750 doesn't give me ANYTHING that my camaro does...
wanted to see if we were on the same page here.. cause i was having an argument with a most ignorant fool.

Camaro or Firebird. But not just because I am an F-body guy.
They are different cars to me. I've driven both. The 750 is a luxury sedan- meant to cruise around in. Yeah, it's a "sport sedan", but whatever. The Camaro and Firebird are sports cars designed to drive fast and hard. Not to mention that I do my own maintenance, so the American cars will be cheaper to keep nice.

I think you are trying to prove a point, but using the wrong car.
Would you trade your fbody in for a new M3 coupe?

Im not a huge fan of the new 7 series. I am a MASSIVE fan of the old 7 series. Id love me a 750il. If I could cut out all the maint. costs as well, yeah Id take a 7 over a 4th gen.

I voted for the BMW because I'd then sell the 750 and use the money to buy a 4th gen TA and something else as a nice DD.

I will assume a similar vintage/mileage/etc 7 series is the comparison, not a brand new one or a real old one. Say a 00-04 model. I also can't speak to 'trades' as I have no idea what value to use for either car. So, just to say what I would pick if I could have one or ther other......
Given I have a family I'd take the 7 series over a 4th gen as a DD. But as a 2nd/cruiser car, the f body.

Driven both, would go with the camaro. 7 series is too much of a boat for me.

M3 over a fbody any day. 750 on the other hand wouldn't be my pick over any gen fbody to be honest. SOOOOO 4th gen T/A FTW.

**** BMW, ANY YEAR OR MODEL!!!
Timeline: 1938-BMW is building machinery for the one of the most ruthless, blood thirsty, ****ed up madman to ever rule a country and try to take over the world. How many innocent people were killed? And how about the fact that the Jews as a whole are lucky to have survived at all? I'd bet my paycheck that there is prolly NOBODY on this board who's family line wasn't ****ed with by Adolph and his boyz...
2008- Whoo hoo! Billy Bigshot makes a few bucks in AMERICA, and where does he send it? Over to GERMANY, for an over hyped, ugly, POS car from BMW so he can convey the point that he's SOMEBODY SPECIAL! Screw the fact that our economy and auto industry are in the toliet...send those bux over to a country that is laughing their azzes off at our demise. They are laughing all the way to the bank! America may have lost WW II, but we are def losing WW III, and a big reason is because of the ****in' self centered yuppie scumbag turd burglers who gotta have that Benz or BMW. WAY TO GO, HOME TEAM!!!

Yep, it's false. The Holocaust never happened, Adolph was just misunderstood, WWII was just a minor skirmish, our economy is better then ever, the American automakers cannot keep up with all the demand for their products, and I'm gonna go poop some gold bars outa my azz.

I made it stand out a bit more for anyone else looking.....
And I'd prolly take the 4th gen over the 750.

Brand spanking new 7 series bmw > fbody.
just went on a bimmer website and the cheapest 7 series is 75k, one would be foolish to not trade in their 6 year old (minimum) car straight up for a 75k vehicle.
