Thumbs up pcmforless tuned

i finally broke down and ordered a tune from PCMFORLESS for the 95Z. i got the computer yesterday and installed it right away...duh!

i must say my butt dyno is very impressed so far and i havent really gotten on it yet. brakes the tires loose on the 1-2 shift, auto and 2:73 rear with 17x9.5 wheel!

filled it up with premium and took it on a lil rt4 to rt17 trip and it sounds amazing lol

sooo yea im happy, maybe ill get to a track some day

Brian tuned my computer too... Major props. My A/F ratio was dead on at TTP's dyno day.

Alvin does the Prom burning. Brian does the LT1 tunes.

From what I hear, Alvin isn't that good, but thats what I hear.

Brian is really good for LT1's .. he is who I had tuned my car.

What tim said is true, I've heard many many bad stories about Alvin's work...

However, I am pretty confident JS Performance is more than capable of handling the prom burning stuff

Brian is a very cool, helpful guy and does awesome work.

I got a tune from Brian 2 weeks ago for my 2000 SS and the car feels great! It put down 320 rwhp at dyno day but it was still learning the changes and kept making more power each run so I think there's another 5-10 hp in it.

Just want to give my .02 on Alvin:

Alvin's rep swings from real bad to real good. And it's not that he is bad tuning cars, but he is slow responding to people and seems to take it real personal if you question his tune! He tuned my car after 3 others tried and gave up, Some returned my money, but not all, I had a tuner ( that I won't mention, some know the guy!) and he took me for allot of money and all my other chips/hardware! /Rant

Alvin did my tune via mail, I had new chips and burner and he sends me the file. His first tune was off a bit, rich top end and slight stumble off idle. I data logged the car and sent him the file and he made the changes and after that the car was flawless!

My tune was a bit complicated: stroker motor, forced induction, 2-bar map, custom cam. Alvin was the only one to get the tune right. I couldn't be happier, but I have friends with 93's as well who don't share my feelings.
