Angry EBAY GARBAGE !!!!

After 2 weeks I finally got my lifters from a guy on ebay.
Now I know i went kind of cheap but I was hoping at the very least they would be equivilent to some or a little better than summits cheapest lifters or w.e.

They came all thrown in a little box. Their nicked on the bottoms a little bit and im worried that they are going to wipe a lobe on my cam or just go flat.

I emailed 2 other people who purchases these lifters from the guy, one guy was missing 2lifters with his order and instead of waiting to be sent he just bought 2 regular lifters. He said 11 of the 14 he had received went "flat".

Im still waiting on the other guys response.

Should I bother using these in my build now?

How much were LS7 lifters? Or caddy lifters? I personally would not use them, I would be constantly worrying about them and could never enjoy the car...

I didnt look into ls7 or caddy lifters, I dont think I can use those in a flat tappet motor.
& your ttoaly right, I am trying to finally build the motor to enjoy it and not have to worry bout it blowing up again...its so frustrating this car.

Didnt know any better? I got a decent new comp cam and new comp cam pushrods(stock length)comp cam magnum double roller timing set. New steel stamped roller rocker arms. Newer edelbrock performer rpm intake. New proform water pump. Misc new brackets and such. Thought these anti pump lifters were a decent set of replacement lifters...guess i gotta something else to save up for to get this thing back on the road.

Prolly would have been best to just order the complete cam kit from Comp, rather than piece it together.

Then you would have gotten the correct springs and lifters as well.

Full kit was like 350.
I got the cam for 100,Timing set was 30 bucks,The push rods were 30,The lifters I THOUGHT WERE GOOD were only 40 bucks.Totalling 200
Now as for springs, the heads I got in the shop already have double springs in them so im good on that.
I should have just for the extra feeling of security tho.

Incorrect. Paypal A) Sucks when it comes to getting your money back and B) Usually only gets involved when there's no delivery of a paid product. They don't handle disputes on incorrect or damaged items. As long as delivery has been made they generally don't get involved.

To the original poster, did you use a credit card? If so file a dispute NOW.

I still wouldn't trust lifters from some random person online. I'd rather spend the extra coin and get everything matched from one source. That's what I did when I bought my cam from Comp.

They may say that, but go look at big sites that have big classifieds boards...I can't tell you how many people have gotten screwed by paypal due to them not wanting to get involved.

If his situation works out great, but people seem to think just because paypal is used you're ok. That's not always the case, unfortunately.
