Photoshoot last night...
well I figured I would take some photo's that I actually planned instead of just taking pictures of the car. It's a 99 Z28 with an SS hood and some bolt-ons. I have a SLP Lid, LS6 Manifold, Hooker SuperComp Lt's, TSP catted Y, Magnaflow catback, Hurst Billet Plus Shifter, MSD superconductor wires, NDK TR55's, and some stuff done to the stereo. I just went out and ordered a QTP electric cutout along with an SS spoiler(Don't worry, the Z28 badges will stay on the car!!). Here is what the results were: Let me know what pictures you like...

Not me in the pictures, but I think it came out pretty good

And this is the picture I chose for my car of the month submission
Btw, the car has 175K miles on it and these pictures are unedited.

looks great. one suggestion would be to get the camera up off the ground. the last picture has beautiful lighting on it, but the texture of the ground is distracting. let you car be the main focus in the picture

Thanks for the input. I actually did crop the car of the month picture from the 4th picture down so I didn't have much to work with. I actually liked the texture it brought to the picture because I thought it made the car look that much better. Also, I don't like taking pictures of the car at eye level because I feel the stock spoiler just makes the back of the car look too blah. Once I get the SS spoiler I will take some more pictures.

yeah, shooting from low does look great when photographing cars, i meant like a foot off the ground or so, just so theres more car than ground. just try a lot of things out and see what you like the best A lot of times people are so set on duplicating pictures that they've seen already shot that they lose their own creative spark

lol, I need to get a mini tripod for the camera because when I try that I can never keep the camera straight or it ends up coming out blurry because I move my hands.

Haha, where you been lately? We had 3 f-bodies and a SRT4 hanging out at Wawa on Sunday Night. I'm trying to see if I can get a small group of people going to Atco either on Thursday night or next Tuesday, let me know if you wanna meet up.

It's a combination of the angle of the picture and how low it actually sits. The lowest point on the y-pipe is the cat and I have about 3 inchs give or take a 1/4. TSP catted y pipe=The fail. I'm gonna try and get it welded up this week along with the cutout when it comes in so I should gain another inch if I'm lucky.

No, his names Dave. He's a member on here but hangs out on LS1tech most of the time. His username is Zero4488 and I don't think he's been on here in almost a year actually.

lol, I just messed around with the y-pipe tonight and tried my hand at some tig welding. I now have a full 3 inches of ground clearance over the whole exhaust. I will mess around with it more tomorrow when my cutout shows up

I been around lol, but I just bought an '08 Sea Doo waverunner so the T/A has been getting neglected lately but Atco would def. be a good time, haven't been there in a few years now.
