You sure its not on the bottom? Should also have an inital/signature of operation/license number.
What town/jusidiction is it in?
PM me if needed...

Thats a pretty big one. Not as bad as I've seen, but.... Safe corridor too?
Like I said, it should be at the very bottom.

arrite...well he was racing his buddy on a highway i guess.
they also gave him a ticket for expired registration...which he had i think in the car the real one, the officer never brought it up to him that it was expired.
and obstruction of view, idk what that was for.
if the officer didnt write how he got his speed on the ticket it can be thrown out?

Technicly, he doesnt need to ASK for paperwork other then what is given to him. Courtoius yes.
Obstruction of view could be something like GPS or radar detector stuck on the windshield or something hanging from the rearview.
I've seen them get thrown out, but it does depend on the judge.

Branchburg or Bridgewater? On Rt 202 or 22?
I know that BBurg can be a PITA but they will probably knock the ticket down. Rt 22 can be a fine-doubling safe corridor in some places.

he wont get out of it. but going to court and going for a no points ticket would be the way to go.

that is a very insignificant detail. i have had worse screw ups on tickets and its pretty much meaningless. though these last two were written for the wrong town

better to consult an attorney. i've seen tickets get thrown out for the wrong date (year was previous year, not the current one).

also like many people think that they must be shown the radar/laser/ whatever speed entrapment device... also, you can get a careless without being explained what was done 'carelessly'

Once back in the day, my dad was requested to go to court in Seaside because of a parking ticket for his '57 Chevy Bel-Air, only problem was that my dad was up North working. The cop wrote the wrong letter for the license plate on a car in Seaside, and my dad was lucky enough for it to be his. So he went down there and it was thrown out. -Jeff.

yeah, in the spring i did the same thing, but it was up north. they sent me a failure to appear on a parking ticket notice, so i called the clerk and said i had never been to their town. she said come on up and talk with the judge, so i did. 2 hours in line to talk with the prosecutor, he wrote "recommend to drop" on the back of the ticket and sent it up to the judge. another half hour later i finally got a chance to talk directly with the judge. he laughed when i told him i had never been to their town and added, "well, i hope you come back to visit - under different circumstances." i thought that was funny, but all of the time it cost me (6 hours total) really angered me. all because of either someone who wrote the plate down wrong or some other clerical error.
anyway, i triumphed. for once. heh.

Same thing happened to my poor mother many years ago when I was in high school. We'd just moved and one day, out of the blue, my mother gets a notice from the New Brunswick municipal court that there was a warrant for her arrest! One character away from her actual license plate with a completely different car description. She ended up going to court like Jim and having it dismissed, but you had to see the panic when she opened that envelope!

I got a notice of a court date for failure to pay a parking ticket in New Hope, PA last spring. They had my Jeep's plate number, and the description was Toy. Camry.....I just called their local PD and explained that although I enjoyed visiting their town, I had never done so with my Jeep. When she pulled up the info and saw the ticket was supposed to be on a Camry, she told me to disregard the notice and that they would send a letter to me explaining that everything was dropped.
I guess I got lucky that I didn't have to show up....
