More economy bad news

Just saw on CBS News that in October alone, 240,000 jobs were lost, bringing the total so far this year to well over 1 million, and 700,000 since the beginning of the market issues only three months ago.

Even bigger news, is that GM is on the verge of going out of business. They called off the merger with Chrysler just to try and save themselves, and the reports are that GM will be bankrupt in six weeks. GM sales since last October are down 45%. GM said that if they don't get immediate help from the government, they won't be around as soon as January.

They have 120 days left of money.
Its not good news. Obama has already talked about if the current administration doesnt do anything, its gunna happen with him.

I would also like to see some sort of protection put in place to keep GM's eye on the ball, as well as supporing the domestic car makers vs the imports just as the import's home countires have done for them.
