Ok so I want a whole true dual custom exhaust on my car. I live in freehold, monmouth county. Does anyone know a good place to go near me, id go far but closer is better.
Also i was going to buy hooker supercomp headers but. since id be getting all new from the headers back would i not be able to keep my loudmouth muffler that i have, or do i need to get another muffler.....one for each side? i dont really know what to do with this so any help from you guys would be very awesome! Thank You

Other than the loud factor of having true duals, why do you want em?
Unless you are making a really ungodly number at the crank, there is no real practical need for them.

 | Texas speed makes a pretty nice true dual setup...by you im not sure, no one I could reccomend...I know mieneke makes custom systems, you just have to find the right ones that gearheads run.

I'd make sure all the bends are mandrel bent or it is probably counter productive.
I agree with SNM it is likely overkill for 99% of street cars, espc since places like mufflex make 3.5 and 4" systems. I think NJSpeeder has a 3.5" mufflex system

If your just looking for louder, install the headers with your LM1. You will not see much performance gain replacing the LM1 with TDs at a bolt on level.
If your deadset on true duals go with TSP. Do not use 2 LM resonators in a true dual setup, look at the sweet thunders or spiralflow. Also, keep in mind that TDs will dump, so unless you are going to hang fake tips in the back, your WS6 will look incomplete

Whose car is that? Looks like a ground clearance issue with no real benefit.

I have TD's dumped before the axle with Hooker Supercomp headers. Just get a headers and a Y-pipe and you should be good. Custom TD's and you'll be paying a lot. It's not worth it for the sound. TexasSpeed makes the rumbler x system but you still have to custom it to dump out back.

Be aware you will most likely fail inspection with pre-axle dumps.

Bassani has a nice looking true dual set-up now as well, pricey though, around $1000.00. Not really worth the effort IMO unless you are pushing 1000+ HP

A single full tail pipe 3.5 with a proper y-pipe moves as much air as a short dual 2.5 system.
Packaging on 3rd and 4th gens is just tough with true duals. You lose a ton of ground clearance especially if you are trying to squeeze tail pipes out of the set up.

I'm happy with my TD's but I regret not saving up for a GMMG. The 3 inch TD setup gives me ground clearance issues. I'm not lowered but I run 30 tires which means I scrap the going over speed bumps never had that issues with a Y pipe setup.

 | Yeah, I saw a nice TD setup using oval tubing so they didn't lose ground clearance. Nice, but it was a stupendously expensive setup from what I can tell.

i completely disagree with you. but i guess we can use one example that clearly had issues as the determining factor |

The arguement of cutouts brings forth the great arguement of back pressure. Solve that one and you get your answer for cutouts.

How? A 3" cutout right in the Y pipe would kill any backpressure.

i was thinkin I - pipe that would still allow exhaust to flow back to the muffler and create some backpressure. also keeping cats would create some back pressure.

Worry about not having back pressure when you are running top fueler zoomie headers. Until then, just put an exhaust system on that is a logical match to the amount of hot air the engine is trying to pump out.
The back pressure thing always gives me a laugh. Another myth from the internet about where power comes from.
