New DD!
Alright guys and gals its that time for me to get a new DD!
I want to spend no over 15K!
Just need a car that has a lil pep to it and good on gas.
I have been considering:
VW GTI turbo
Mazda CX-7 turbo
Mini S
Cobalt SS
and open to other suggestion no TT or miata's need some space for passengers and cargo.

CX-7 the SUV? Kind of an odd vehicle for a line up consisting of compacts sedans.
I assume you mean Cobalt SS/SC or the NA ones.
Out of that list, Id say Mini.
If you want good handling, but not so much power, look at the Saturn Astra.

I'd stay away from the GTI, anyone I know with a VW has more problems with it than they can count

That's what I was thinking but can you swing an Astra for 15k?
edit:: Yes, you can.. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/search...=1232229152046
I'd do it.

i'd personally stay away from germans. they tend to be expensive to repair.

Astra is standard with 5spd manual
Cobalt SS turbo are only the new ones, and are in teh 20-22k range. Deffinatly a powerful car, and probably best in its class performance wise. Interior materials are so so for the segment.

oh yeah they are sweet cars. great creature comforts in the interiors with nice features here and there. its just they tend to be costly to repair and they don't have wheel studs

Found a possible new DD going to gl test drive it this week!
Personally I believe this car to be better looking than the cobalt SS and yet is still a Supercharged GM product, and interior is better too

Inteiror materials are equal, Ion's center mounted guages are odd, but no doubt the Ion RL is overlooked so much.
