Does anyone here tint windows?
I have two cars that I want to get the rear glass done on. A 2002 saturn sl2 and a 95 chrysler lhs. I don't want anything to dark; just something to help keep the sun out of my daughters eyes. I need an " on the side" type deal by someone who really knows what they are doing. I don't want bubbles and or purple looking tint or else I'd attempt it myself. PM me and let me know where your located and an approximate price. Thanks in advance.

I've seen a number of quality jobs come out of this shop:
Fabulous Auto Alarms
358 Highlands Ave
Passaic, NJ 07055
1(973)955-4390
www.fabulousautoalarms.org
It might be a ride for you but they do some quality work!!!

Its probably a drive for you but Boss Audio in Perth Amboy does. Real cheap and good work. They were gonna do the htree windows in my bird for like 120. Plus if something ever happens to the (rips, comes off, etc.) they replace it for free.

I took mine to the gangsta auto FX place in Cherry Hill. They did a good job, and mine aren't dark at all.

i must admit that auto image in brick has done two camaros and my truck for me. also my buddies truck, passat, and his dads suburban. all have come out great and they are professional about it. they do the fish bowl in one piece too! 3m tint and the optional lifetime warranty. also, many different tint shades of course.

Does he do nice work on f-body hatches? Auto Magic did a poor ass job on mine and won't replace it. So i'm looking for a good place to take it.

What does the typical shop charge for 3 back windows ( 5 if you count the little "fly" windows)? I was trying to get someone who knew what they were doing to do this on the side, a.k.a cheaper than a full rate shop, but if it's not crazy expensive at a professional place, maybe I will just do that.

well the more cutting, the more expensive. also, contours add $$ and to lay correctly require some patience/skill. i would say under $200 with a 1 year warranty and quality tint. probably closer to $150. if i was any good at tinting, i would offer to do it.
