I got in!

I just got accepted into Carnegie Mellon's Masters program for information assurance security.. I'm very excited!

Now I need to find a way to pay for it... $103,000 for their 16 month program!!!!!!

I applied for some full ride scholarships so I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed.

Nothing like free school! =P

I really want to work in the field of information assurance (kind of like the anti-hacker).

This degree not only helps in the technical sense, it also trains in managerial positions (network admin, CISO, etc). There are few bachelors programs which offer this training, most of which are just generic computer science degrees which is what I will be getting in 2 months.

Congrats Ryan....Carnegie Mellon is no joke. Had the pleasure of meeting / hanging out with some undergrads there ~8 years ago when I was going to school nearby. They were working on some pretty wild stuff.
