Thanks Josh for the Amsoil!
Picked up the case of Amsoil outboard motor oil today from JS Performance. Thanks for offering up as a connection, I think I'll be using it this weekend out on the river! Can you guys build me a twin turbo LSX motor for towing the boat?

Thanks for your purchase Jeff. I hope it does what you want it to. I think a nitrous motor would be better this way when you are trying to get up the ramp you just hit the spray and away you go!

Just a plain old Johnson 40hp. I'm looking to run a leaner mix to cut down on the smoke while idling around when fishing. I read up a lot on the Amsoil synthetic outboard oil which can be mixed 100:1 so I figured I would give it a try, probably around 75 or 80:1 to see how it works.

When it comes down to it, it is always much cheaper to run the superior oil even if it costs $8-$15 a quart then rebuilding the engine prematurely besause you used the dollar store 2 stroke oil.
