Stock LS1 can take that, right?

I watched part of the nitro bike episode today, and he flew as a passenger in an F-16 and made passes on a pro-stock bike to get ready for it. Didn't get to see the end of the episode though.

it was awesome, his first run on the nitro bike he didn't keep it full throttle when he launched and ended up going into the other line then the second launch he rolled the throttle and the piston blew out the side of the block, then his third run he nailed it perfect and had a good run.

the show is stupid and so is he. i find it amazing that out of all the space to run, the finishing maneuver just 'happened' to be directly in front of a cameraman, able to film the entire takedown from a perfect vantage point.

they did, after the cop cars stopped. watch the cut scenes, it was done on a corner directly in front of a cameraman standing in the yard of one of the houses.

As if those two things are mutually exclusive.

Far be it for me to get on a soapbox often but what's with the negativity towards Jesse James?

The dude works his ass off for what he's got. He's talented and caught a few good breaks along the way as well. Despite the fact that now he's wealthy and married to a movie star the guy does nothing but carry the flag for the working class man. He tells you everything straight up how it is and doesn't hide his opinion on anything. Maybe a bit unpolished, uneducated in a book sense, but that could describe half the members of this board as well.

As for the show.....I think it's just ok. Nothing will ever be as good as Monster Garage was the first few seasons....even Jesse knows and admits that.
