Anybody here get one of these....
I wanted to get one for years but kept putting it off after reading about how hard its to get and qualify for it. I got mine in less then 3 weeks from application to sticker, not hard at all. Anybody else here have one?

I finally got one this year also. Getting the proof of limited production was the hardest part.

Got mine. I got in before it was more difficult. I did get hassled this year a bit that I needed to do the app. thing but seemed to talk my way out of it.

I've had one on the Monte for 5-6 years now; got it before it was too difficult. Glad it was easy enough for you to get one!!

on the '69, i won't need one of those. for the '87, i am not sure they will buy it since it was one of the plain jane 6 cylinders in its previous life. however, the changes i am making to it might qualify it. dunno, that's a bridge i will cross when we get to it.

Had mine for about 8 years now. Just needed to show it had Collector Car Insurance. All I have to do now is drive around the block (to show the odometer is working) and you get a sticker. Just a small note, keep the sheet of paper they give you that shows all the records and the cutout for your sticker, such as current mileage etc. It will help you get through when the next inspection comes around in two years.

QFT!!! Two years ago when I went for renewal, I paid at the DMV desk, got my voucher, and went over to the inspection line. It was the end of shift for a few people (4PM), so one guy scraped the sticker off, then told me to take the car around the block to check the odometer. When I got back, that guy had already split, so it took me 20 minutes to explain to another guy what kind of sticker he was supposed to put on my car. I'll never go without my paperwork again!

For me it was easy, did everything from my laptop and copier. I didn't waste time trying to get a letter from a car-club or even GM. All I did was take my Camaro white book and copy the 98 Camaro facts page with all the breakdowns of how many were built in total and highlight that only 3025 Camaro SS were built out of 54,026 total Camaros built in 98. That showed them it was a limited build model. I then made a copy of a old PM I had from LS1tech from Dave Hamburger(SLP) That showed my Vin# and the SLP build # on it and highlighted them. I made copy of my Collectors car insurance Declarations page. Took 4 pics of all the cars sides. Downloaded the form from the NJ MVC. Filled everything out and sent it. Got back the letter from them O.K.ing it and went to the MVC to get my voucher and renew my registration at the same time. Then I went to the inspection, who only asked me the mileage on it and to go around the block and put 1 mile on it. I came back, he asked me the mileage again, I told him 1 more mile and thats it. Put sticker on it and left. He never came inside my car to even look at the mileage himself. If I would of known it was that easy years ago I would of done it a long time ago.
