You are absolutely right!! Thats why I changed my springs as well to Stranos which raised the car back up an inch maybe 1.5, and I added air bags to the rear springs for good measure. So if I have any extra weight just hit up the gas station for an air hose and fill up the air bags and raise up the car. Good up to an extra 1000 pounds. Believe me I thought this thing out through an through.
Here is a good picture of the air bag inside the spring.

Believe me no one wants it badder then I do lol. Funds man Funds are holding me back. This turbo is suppose to give 750 at the crank alone. So with a nice build up on the Motor I am looking at an easy 700 at the rear wheels.

Only thing I can think of is when the motor is finally pulled thats the time to switch the Kmember. That a nice weight reduction plus would look good for my purpose car Shows. I dont really have anymore weight reduction plans. With the projected horsepower I am asuming that will make up for the weight. Other then that this really is a multipurpose car. I want to be able to drive it to California if I want to, Spank the supercars when I want to, drag it when I want to, and autocross it when I want to lol. The Audio in the trunk comes out in 5 mins so I can do whatever i want. I am building it not for it to become a garage queen but for my pure enjoyment day in and day out. I am sure this car is seen quite often on the streets. really appreciate the good comments. Never thought I would have a turbo but hey Pontiac 1st put turbos in there cars stock back in 79-80. Just paying a little hommage lol.

quite honestly I am not sure I better break out the instructions manual lol. All I know is that it is rated to handle 1000 extra pounds of weight in the event I need it. Bought it from Strano when I bought the springs. The company is Air Lift inc. Its like the old style GM bodies that came in the late 70's 80's Has the little pea cocks in the rear and you put a air hose to it to lift the car up. There not drag bags. I believe can can function like that if I want to by stiffing them up.

yeah i have one, its a drag bag. i'm sure it can serve your purpose, i'll look at my papers later though. mine is an airlift as well and it specifies it for drag launch purposes. not yellin at ya or anything, just don't want you to **** up that beauty!

Yeah just been trying to get my stuff done. The shows I go to really no one here are in too so I dont even mention it anymore. Hot Import Nights, Nopi Car Show Series, Roadstar Car show, Nj State Fair. I took 1st at all these shows and I was the only one from NJFBOA. It would be nice just for one time that at least 20 cars from our members here would roll in at one of these shows and take home the biggest club trophy. And show these imports how American muscle does it.

the turbo looks great...id kill the window banner and all the stickers stickers though...ruins the sleek look of it all and starts to just make the car look cluttered imo
