I have no idea i can only assume it wasnt, haha. Any comp she puts it on at work wont even recognize it. The computers she pulled the info from are no longer around.

You can usually do a drive recovery on flash drives. I have done it a few times, you need special software though. Nothing terribly expensive but chances are the TOC has just been wiped out.
I could help out possibly but I have to find the software

I would be forever indebted to you if you could help out and somehow get those files back. She was devastated when it didn't load. If you can find the software ill mail the little drive out with a blank signed check haha, or point me to the proper software and well give it a shot.

Were the files original on the mac?
If so, then the PC will not read it, and she would have to use the mac to retrieve those files.

I've never had a problem transferring files Mac-PC or PC-Mac. I use a MacBook most of the time but I have a PC dekstop at home. Both computers work fine with my flash drive and my external.
One thing I did notice with the Mac, when your using a USB device it prompts you to make sure you remember to safely remove the device. My friend warned me about just removing the flash drive without going through the prompts, but I don't have much important stuff to worry about and usually just pull it out.
I think I have a software recovery program somewhere, If you can get a computer to recognize it and the files are corrupt I'll see if I can find the program.
