Cant go wrong wth yellow tail. I also had a cranberry wine that was very good IMO. Theres a winery right on 322 in the mullica hill area you can taste before you buy I would go there. Wouldnt spend less than $12 on a small bottle but thats just me. Stay away from sutter home unless you like the tast of everclear and hi-c.

You can absolutely go wrong with Yellow Tail. It's overcommericalized and you are paying for the name these days. I used to buy it for $6 a bottle. Same product, more marketing.

A Sterling cab is OK, as is a Kim Crawford Sauv Blanc (from NZ). Rosemount Shiraz is a decent buy for the price as well.

Actually, a better gift that isn't booze (easier for you to buy) is a Vinturi. It will aerate wine to make it smoother/taste better. So it will make his crappy stuff better and easier to drink. Runs about $30.

Best local winery is Brotherhood in Washingtonville, NY. Their Riesling is very good.

Seriously, look into a Vinturi/ wine aerator. It can really raise the flavor.

I'm putting SFC on my christmas list and if I'm lucky some sway bars, I think asking for a 9" is pushing it
