Good summer job??

im looking to get a new job for the spring/summer...anyone have any ideas? the job im at now sucks i make $130 a week workin 22 hours at a liquor store

pizza delivery? and not for a chain place, a real pizza place

really?? i didnt think id get that much doin that....haha yeah i have 2 cousins in the army and i dont have the balls to do it

+1 on the internship... it will may not bring you cash right away but in the long run you will be better off... otherwise u maay not do much better than ur already doing

go down to the beach and get a job as a lifeguard. from wat i hear the pay is good and it a relaxed job.. with that in mind there also is alot of risk and you hold alot of responcibility

Its too late for interships this summer, most places have already hired etc.

Try auto parts stores or any other chains like that, just gotta do some footwork.

why do you say never think about joining the military? im full time national guard, make $27 an hour, work tuesday-thursday 7-5:30, and work on Jet engines. now if you mean dont think about joining the army.... thats a different story

Dont do pizza delivery, been there, done that and its the worst. Try landscaping, 10-12 bucks and hour usually. Long hours means lots of money and you get to be outdoors. Oh, and you get rain days, which are always nice.

Landscaping isnt for everyone, it is long hours but its also very hard work. some people cant take it (my dad owns a business)

oh i agree, if you join the military you will deal with some stuff that is so stupid that it will blow your mind. but at least its job security

internships could be paid and could not be paid, but as said earlier it may be too late to get one.

landscaping is rough..i used to do it with my buddies and hated it, its not for everyone.

you cant go wrong with a serving job..its easy and really hard to screw up.

pizza delivering is awesome if you have a practical car. u make minimum wage and still get tips

i worked masonry one summer. laying brick drives ways, some days i would come home with bloody hands and everyday i came back exhausted but you cant argue with 15 an hour... cash...and i got fed
